WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

Sizing your custom hemp jewelry:

You can try one of two things:

1. Measure an existing piece of jewelry that fits you well; or

2. Measure the part of your body that u are fitting by placing a tape meausure around your neck, wrist, ankle (etc.) the way you would want your new
custom hemp jewelry to fit and take that measurement.

However if you really just are not sure, go with some sort of ties as your closure and aim for a lower measurement. Ties are adjustable and will usually give you about 3-4" of tightening or loosening room to play with.

Tips:

Remember when ordering "PHAT" or very thick jewelry especially when ordering a very thick "twist or spiral" knotting, you will need some extra
room. Go at least one size larger then your measurment.

Sizing does NOT include ties, or loops or any part of the closures. These do not typically add any significant length to your necklaces. Do not try to add on a inch or so to your measurement for closures, it is not necessary. So just give me your measurement and I will figure out the rest.

When Choosing your size:

Your measured size = 17". You should choose 17-18" from the drop menu.

Your measured size is 17.5" you should choose 18-19" from the drop menu.

I will always aim for the lower number when making your necklace.

When in doubt:

When in doubt after choosing your size from the drop menu, you can always write me notes in the text box you will see during checkout. Please do not

choose for example 16-17" from the drop menu then leave me a note in the text box to make your necklace something over 18-19". There is an extra

small fee for larger sizes. This will only delay your order.

Water & Your Hemp Jewelry

Hemp Jewelry is made for water. However there are a few things you should know. If you are looking for your hemp jewelry to look NEW for a long

time, water exposure is not recommended. Especially for colored hemp. If this is not a concern then wear your jewelry in the water all you want.

Closures are not all created equally. Though the Lock -n- Loop is great for keeping your necklace safe, the effectiveness of the closure will become
compromised with continual water exposure. If you want your jewelry safe but are always in the water, I would recommend ties or loop and ties.

Expensive Glass on your hemp jewelry is always so great! Looks great, gets attention and who does not love a colorful piece of handmade glass by
Annie and Jodi... however use your best judgment. It is handmade glass and the ocean is a big place should you loose it.

In closing, I would just like to say, hemp jewelry is hemp jewelry made to where and enjoy. It is the coolest thing going, looks great, wears great, and the best part is it is inexpensive. So just wear it and enjoy. You can always come back for another one!
