 Hi friends! These are the answers to some questions I get asked most often. If you have a question about me or my products, read this first, and if you still need help, feel free to Email me!

Q: Do you Ship Internationally or accept checks or money orders via snail mail?
A: YES! If you are an international customer you can use the shopping carts and place your order directly through the shop. If you would like to send a check or money order: Even though you can't use the Hemp Jewelry Shop Shopping Cart, Here's what you do:

Q: Do you offer a paper catalog you could send me?
A: I don't have a paper catalog. It is much more eco friendly to just use the online catalog. Everything I have to offer is in the shop and if you would like to mail order please just email me. I do accept Visa, MasterCard, and Paypal thru the shopping cart. I accept checks, money orders, via snail mail. Just email me your order as stated above if you would rather mail order.
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: I first started off as Keychains, Crafts & More on the Internet in May of 1999 and changed the name to HempJewelryShop.com in 2002.
Q: Will you handcraft jewelry just for me, exactly what I want?
A: Yes. If you do not see exactly what you want in the Custom Catalog, all you have to do is EMAIL ME. Or you can give me a call at 508-241-3778, however email is the fastest way to get a response from me. Let me know what exactly you are looking for. I will let you know if it is possible and the price of the item you would like me to make for you.
Q: What forms of Payments do you Accept?
A: I accept Visa, MasterCard also PayPal, Personal Checks and Money orders.
Q: Is Hemp Jewelry Comfortable to wear?
A: Yes, though some people with extra sensitive skin may find it a little itchy at first, after a very short period of time the jewelry gets broken in and feels as good as a worn pair of jeans! :)
Q: How do I know what size bracelet, anklette, or necklace I wear?
A: I suggest using a tape measure. Place the tape measure around your desired body part exactly how you would want your hemp jewelry to fit and take that measurement. This measurement does not indlcude closures or ties. I will take care of that for you. If you are still unsure about your size your best bet would be to order loop with ties closure or braided ties closure as this would make you hemp jewelry adjustable. Aim low for the size you can then tie it on ass tight or as loose as you like. That should make the piece a perfect fit. :)
Q: How do I care for my New Hemp Jewelry?
A: Well that is an easy one for the most part... you don't! You can wear it and wear it and wear it, in the shower, in the ocean, to bed, doing whatever you do best, take it with you where ever you go. Hemp, when it is new, is kind of stiff. Like a new pair of jeans, once you wear it and wash it a bit, it gets softer and better and more broken in. Hemp is also very, very sturdy. However be smart about it
certain beads are not made for water such as dyed bone and expensive glass in case you loose it in the ocean and some others. Also if you order your necklace with "soft" hemp or a colored hemp pretty much know that the color will fade if taken in and out of the water. Bottom line you can use hemp where ever you want, but the more you wear it the more worn it looks. Not a bad thing though.
Q: What types of Clasps does your jewelry have?
A: You have your choice between a regular braided loop and bead closure (classic favorite), Braided Ties, Braided Loop w/ ties and the newest sliding lock loop and bead. I would not recommend this one if you are taking your jewelry in and out of the water often.
Q: Is there another way to contact you besides Email?

Q: Can you smoke hemp jewelry? Do you smoke weed?
A: Sadly, my friends these are the type of questions I am asked. The answer is NO on both counts. Hemp twine is processed very differently and does NOT contain any drugs. Also people, just because I make hemp jewelry does NOT mean I smoke weed. haha... this is the question I am asked the most. Crazy!

I started making hemp jewelry in 1999. I wanted something to keep me busy, since I had decided to stay home with my kids. Then I discovered the internet world of business and it took off from there. I opened my first store which was "Keychains, Crafts & More" and it was basically a keychain shop. I worked with lots of materials, not just hemp. It soon evolved over the next couple of years, and then changed more into the well oiled shop you see before you, HempJewelryShop.com
Here at the shop I make all the Custom and Instock Hemp Jewelry and other hemp stuff you see here. My Hemp Jewelry is a source of GREAT PRIDE to me! I put every ounce of skill and quality I know how into each piece. You are not purchasing your run of the mill hemp jewelry when you purchase from me. You are purchasing Great quality, long lasting jewelry with great attention to detail. You will wear it with all the Pride that I put into it. I am always willing to listen to you custom order request. So if you have any ideas that you do not see in my custom catalog feel free to drop me an email and we can discuss it. I love making my jewelry and I also sew, though I do not find to much time for it since my hemp jewelry customers show me so much love and keep my so busy. I hope to be able to sew some great products for you sometime in the future.

I was born in 1967 and I am the Mom of three beautiful girls. I also have Ariel our kittie she runs the house.
Besides my love for hemp jewelry and other crafting, I also have a love for music, health & fitness and of course my girls are the biggest part of who I am. I am a very determined busy person with lots of drive, extremely friendly and lover of life! The business, the kids, running a home, anything else that life throws at me and trying to have somewhat of a life of my own gets super crazy, but I would not have it any other way. I love to be busy!
