CUSTOM ORDER WAIT TIME EXPLAINATION
To help you figure out which items are going to be the best for you, here's a quick breakdown of how this stuff works:
IN STOCK: Ships in approx 3-5 business days (weekends and holidays don't count!) from the date of order. Anything that says IN STOCK or has a Quantity listed means we can ship it out right away. This is the best option if you can't wait for a custom item or you need it for a gift. A lot of the IN STOCK items are priced less than a custom items!
CUSTOM: Any item that says CUSTOM means that when you order it, it goes on my giant list of things that I am HAND MAKING just for you! I make all orders IN the order that I receive them. The wait time is the time it takes me to get to your order make it and ship it. This does not mean that it takes me 30-35 days to actually make your individual order as some of my customers had originally thought. The wait time right now for CUSTOM HEMP JEWELRY is typically 30 - 35 days (possibly sooner and sometimes a couple day later, please be patient I am working hard to get it to you ASAP) to shipping day.
SHIPPING DAYS
I would love to ship everyday, however that is an impossibility for me. Since I am a 1 woman show I also need time to work on orders, create new things for you, and just get general boring business stuff done also. So with that said, shipping days in the shop (typically, this is not set in stone... a day off here or there sometimes does occur) will go like this:
MONDAYS: All custom orders that are completed, and all IN STOCK orders that have come in from Friday night - Monday @ 12:00 pm (noon) Eastern Standard Time will ship out on Mondays.
FRIDAYS: All custom orders that are completed, and all IN STOCK orders that have come in from Monday night - Friday @ 12:00 pm (noon) Eastern Standard Time will ship out on Friday.
PACKAGING:
When packing my orders I try to use the least amount of packing material possible to keep things as Eco friendly as possible. I do not use tiny zip lock bags (unless beads are ordered) and I do not use any unnecessary bubble wrap or overly large boxes unless they are absolutely needed. This will cut down on the amount of waste. I also use the United States Postal Service which provides free Eco Friendly shipping boxes, envelopes and bags. Every little bit helps.
DELIVERY CONFIRMATION:
Upon shipment of your order you will receive a shipment notification via email with a delivery confirmation# for your package. This number will verify to you that I have shipped your item and in return let me know when it reaches its destination. Thought It does not happen very often, but sometimes packages get lost in the mail. If the confirmation update on your package indicates that it never reached you, and after giving it the good old college try the post office can not find it, I will replace your order. However, if the delivery confirmation updates states that your item was delivered, it is the store's policy not to replace your order. If in fact the package is lost I will lend a helping hand, to find it, but you will have to take this up with your post office.
Why is this?
Well as much as I would like to be the person that makes everything better and make EVERYONE happy. I can not please everyone all the time. I use the Delivery Confirmation for a reason. That is so you know I mailed your package and so that I know it was delivered. Unfortunately there are some people that will take advantage and say they never received a package when they actually did. I know hard to believe but true. Also there are others that do not have mail boxes large enough to accommodate the package and usually find that the office at their living complex may have it or the post man left in front of the door and it was stolen. I can not be held responsible for these situations. If your packages are not safe being left by your door, please leave a note of instruction on your door for your mail carrier. If you would like to purchase insurance for your package or signature confirmation, you can email me and I would be happy to assist you with that.
ABANDON ITEMS:
If an order is returned to me by the United States Postal service for any reason, I will contact the customer first with an email to issue a store credit in the sum of the product that was returned (shipping not included due to initial shipping has already been used) in the form of a Gift Certificate PIN#. Once this is done it will be the responsibility of the customer to come back to the shop and place the order again using the Gift Certificate PIN# during checkout to pay for the item. Shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. If the item was returned due to an error in labeling on our end we will ship you back your item free of charge.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: (Updated as of 12/05/11)
U.S. & Canada ONLY!
I'm sorry but do to the problems I have had with orders not getting to their international destinations I will no longer be shipping internationally except for Canada.
